Grammy

Our tune this Christmas didn't have much to do with Santa coming to town but we did eagerly anticipate someone else -- Grammy! We spent some valuable with her and I believe she very artfully (and successfully) created a week of unforgettable moments with her grandson, Joshua. Among the memories:

Pizza at the best place in my old college town!

A welcome into the world of 3-D movies. How are we ever to be satisfied with things not threatening to slap us in the face now?

Cut-out cookies! This is a Grammy tradition every year. She travels all over the country to do this with all 7 of her grandchildren! Like I said, who needs to sing about Santa?

The "Happy Birthday, Jesus" cake. They did a great job. I got a little anxious to slice it up (as you can see) but they reminded me that we needed to light candles and sing! And so we did, most merrily.

Thank you for coming, Mom. We had such a good time and we love and miss you! Good luck on round three of the baking spree....

Christmas as the Banks is always fun - whether decorating cookies, singing songs, or chasing little boy around the house. I loved every minute! Gerry christmas and Happy New Year, one and all.
