Christmas Day was very sweet, spent quietly just the three of us until the evening came and we headed to Greg's parents' house. Thank you Grammy for the looooooong-coveted Lego set! After being drug to the toy aisle 37 different times over this, there is much relief in our home tonight.

Joshua had to go on a massive treasure hunt to finally end up right back under the tree. Somewhere between clues #11 & 12, Greg snuck everything out and plugged it all in. What a surprise it was! The concerts have been rockin'. :)

I've loved reading your "Days of Christmas" posts. We have a new electric drum set at our house. Lindy's plan for peace and quiet in spite of drums in the house by buying an electric set with headphones was foiled by the uncles who hooked up Jac's new iPod docking station as an amp. Now we all get to enjoy the drums.
Sounds like the boy had a wonderful Christmas. Now he will have several things to keep him occupied (and the kitchen curtains will stay in place, and Greg doesn't have to worry about being catapulted out of his seat, and...... life to return to normal - at least as normal as life gets for a 9-year boy.) Merry Christmas!

I love your excitement about the....what do you call it? Dusting? We don't know that word here. Unless of course, you refer to cleaning. I find it remarkable how similar the fronts of our houses are!
